To provide an angle-of-rotation detection apparatus in which an output voltage with reference to a temperature is hard to change by a method wherein the interval between a galvanomagnetic element and a magnet member is controlled by the thermal expansion and contraction of a case and a shaft.
A part 3 on which a galvanomagnetic element 1 or a shaft 5 at an angle-of-rotation detection apparatus 20 is placed is constituted of a material which takes into consideration a coefficient of thermal expansion. That is to say, the galvanomagnetic element 1 as a main component for the angle-of-rotation detection apparatus placed on the case bottom part 3 which is composed of, e.g. a polycarbonate resin. Alternatively, the shaft 5 to which a magnet 4 is attached is formed of a material such as a polycarbonate resin whose coefficient of thermal expansion is large.
