PURPOSE: To make driving stable and stabilize the output by using an insulator as an elastic joint member and extending leads from a sensor element through electrodes provided nearby the symmetrical surface of a tuning fork.
CONSTITUTION: A couple of sensor elements are jointed into tuning fork structure by fitting end parts of driving piezoelectric bimorph elements 12 in recessed parts 13a of the elastic coupling member 13 to constitute a tuning fork element. The coupling member is made of ceramic, and lead-out electrodes 14 are provided almost at the center part of an opposite end surface from an end surface where the sensor element is joined; and the leads 15 led out of the electrodes of the sensor elements are connected and a lead wire 9 is connected between lead pins 10. Then tuning fork vibration is stabilized, the danger of a lead disconnection is eliminated, and vibration resistance is improved.
