To provide an angular velocity control unit capable of securing high space stability by eliminating influences of flexural vibration.
After an AZ axis rotation component is removed by a subtractor 130 from an angular velocity signal detected by a visual axis angular velocity detecting part 210, a flexural vibration component is removed by a filter operator 140. An angular velocity signal thus having only a roll direction rotation component and an angular velocity signal including the AZ axis rotation component detected by the AZ axis angular velocity detecting part are added to carry feedback control of vibration compensation by using the signal. Thus, by controlling by excluding the flexural vibration component, stability of the control is raised and the high space stability is realized.
