Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity data correction device allowing detection error of rotational momentum in the case of using an angular velocity meter always accompanied by a drift component to approach zero value.
SOLUTION: Error of a counter value (angular velocity data) indicating a measured value of an angular velocity meter is corrected with an initial corrector 31 and the corrected angular velocity data is converted to data of a format capable of internally operating with a scale conversion processor 32. A termination judgment part 33 extracts variation component of the angular velocity data after conversion and based on the cumulative value per unit time of the variation component, whether the angular velocity is in motion or in stationary state is judged. An offset value calculation part 34 calculates the drift component quantity included in the angular velocity data at stationary state at every time when the termination judgment part 33 detects the stationary state, which is stored in an offset value storage 35. Then, an offset value eliminating part 36 eliminates one by one the drift component quantity in storage from the angular velocity data.
