PURPOSE: To obtain an anix roller advantageously and at a lower cost than ever, by making use of photosensitive resins.

CONSTITUTION: Photosensitive resins are coated on a cylindrical base body 1 using a knife blade 2. The photosensitive resin is either polymer or prepolymer of either polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, polybutadiene or polyvinyl chloride with the additives of photopolimerizable monomer, photopolymerization starting agent and halation preventive agent. The raised and sunken parts on the surfaces is smoothed by coating, and the positive plate 5 with the original patterns to press by pressing roller 6 to form potential image by exposing. Thereafter, by melting the fusible part by means of development treatment, the cells (A), (B) for ink feeding are obtained, which then are to be dried and hardened by baking. Thus an anix roller can be obtained easily at a lower cost.
