Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular seal member with a simple structure, excellent in sealing performance, capable of preventing breakage of a sealing part in fitting, and capable of maintaining muddy water intrusion prevention efficiency into a fitting part for a long time.SOLUTION: The annular seal member includes: a metallic member 11 having a cylindrical part 14 fitted to one member 6 of two members 6 and 7 relatively and concentrically rotated, and a flange part 15 radially extended from one end 14a of the cylindrical part 14; and an annular lip part 16 fixed along a peripheral direction on a peripheral surface 14ba (14d, 14ea) of a rear side part in a fitting direction d of the cylindrical part 14 in a portion not related to the fitting. The annular lip part 16 is fixed by applying and hardening an elastomer agent on the cylindrical part 14, and a lip height b is larger than a fixing width a of the annular lip part 16 to the cylindrical part 14, and the annular lip part 16 is elastically abutted to the one member 6 with bending deformation when the cylindrical part 14 is fitted to the one member 6 in a prescribed position.
