Abstract:
To provide an anode casting apparatus capable of preventing a "blister" from occurring more efficiently on the surface of a formed anode.SOLUTION: An anode casting apparatus 1 that casts an anode continuously includes: a turntable 10 which has a plurality of anode casting molds 11 equally placed in a circumferential direction thereof; a cooling unit 12 which cools and solidifies molten copper to be sequentially cast into the plurality of anode casting molds 11 through intermittent rotary motions of the turntable 10; a stripping part 14 which strips an anode A formed through the cool solidification; a temperature-measuring part 15 which measures a surface temperature of the anode casting molds 11 right after the anode A is stripped; and a control part 16 which controls the spray of cooling water based on the surface temperature. The control part 16 specifies the anode casting mold 11 to be sprayed, individually when the cooling water is sprayed, and controls the spray based on surface temperature information obtained when the specified anode casting mold 11 is measured with the temperature-measuring part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
