Abstract:
To provide a device for detecting abnormality of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which is capable of detecting a sign of abnormality of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery earlier.SOLUTION: A device for detecting abnormality of a secondary battery comprises: a charge control circuit having a space for disposing the secondary battery and serving to charge the secondary battery; an output control circuit for controlling a current to be supplied to a supply destination from the secondary battery; a plurality of temperature sensors disposed on a side face of the space for disposing the secondary battery so as to correspond to the secondary battery; and an abnormality detecting circuit. The abnormality detecting circuit senses a temperature of the secondary battery disposed in the space on the basis of outputs of the plurality of temperature sensors. When the temperature is over a predetermined level T, the abnormality detecting circuit detects the abnormality of the secondary battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
