Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small sized antenna which is built in a casing of a portable radio equipment on which an antenna is mounted by coating at least a part of a coil conductor composed of a metallic wire with a resin having a specific dielectric constant or a coating material composed of a mixture of a resin and a filler.
SOLUTION: An antenna 10 is composed of a conductor 11 composed of a copper wire or a covered copper wire and wound in spiral and a cover material 12 is composed of a resin whose specific dielectric constant ε is 1<ε≤10 or a mixture of the resin and a filler. The entire conductor 11 is covered by a cover material 12. One end of the conductor 11 is extracted to the outside of the cover material 12 to be an external terminal 13. Moreover, the other end of the conductor 11 forms a free end 14 on the inside of the cover material 12. A material for the cover material 12 is a material such as a fluoroeresin, an epoxy resin, or a mixture of an epoxy resin and a filler whose major component is titanium.
