PURPOSE: To decrease the occupying space with simple constitution by using a part of a case of a radio equipment main body as a dielectric body and providing an antenna element and an earth layer made of a material such as a thin metallic film to the outer face and the inner face of the case.

CONSTITUTION: The antenna element 20 made of a thin metallic film is provided on the outer face 12 of one side 11 of the case 10 of a radio equipment main body made of a dielectric. Further, an earth layer 30 made of a thin metallic film is provided on the inner face 13 of the case 10. Plural posts 20 are provided to the element 20 along the edge of lower sides and the element 20 is connected to the layer 30 via the case 10 by the posts 20. Further, a core 41 of a coaxial feeding line 40 is connected to a feeding point 25 of the element 20 through the layer 30 and the case 10. Moreover, the other conductor 42 of the feeding line 40 is connected to the layer 30. Thus, the antenna with small size and light weight and with good performance is constituted.
