Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for radio telephones which reduces its influence on the human body, raises the gain and decreases the specific absorption rate(SAR), without narrowing the call area.
SOLUTION: The antenna for radio telephones in an unbalanced feed system has an antenna element 1 to be fed and a base plate 3. It comprises a plate-like parasitic element 7 disposed along the base plate 3 and set to an element length, so as to act as a reflector, when the parasitic element 7 is disposed at the human body side and a waveguide, when it is disposed at a side opposite to the human body.
