Abstract:
PURPOSE: To index a communication range independently of a frequency of a radio wave in the antenna system employed for a mobile body identification device.
CONSTITUTION: The antenna system consists of an array antenna 1 formed by arranging antenna elements 11 longitudinally, a radio wave absorbing member 2 absorbing a radio wave from the array antenna 1 and a hinge 3 used to couple the array antenna 1 and the radio wave absorbing member 2, and the installing angle α of the radio wave absorbing member 2 with respect to the array antenna 1 is changed by the hinge 3. Through the constitution above, since a radio wave from the array antenna 1 is partially shielded and absorbed by the radio wave absorbing member 2, the communication area is made small. Furthermore, the communication area is made small by the radio wave absorbing member 2, then it is not required to index the communication area by the antenna element 11 itself and the communication area is made small independently of the frequency of the radio wave.
