Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a low profile and non-directivity antenna.
CONSTITUTION: When the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave to be used is λ, metallic disk-shaped edge plates 16 and 17 having the diameter larger than the cylinder body 10 are respectively fixed to both edge parts of a metallic cylindrical cylinder body 10 in which the axial line direction length is less than λ/4. By making the axial line direction of the cylinder body 10 in the vertical direction, the non-directivity antenna which is the low profile of a vertical polarization is realized. The edge plate is fixed to one side of the cylinder bodies, other edge part may be fixed to the traveling object of a dielectric larger than the cylinder body and at both edge parts, the terminal may not be provided.
