Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an antenna capable of effectively utilizing space around the antenna even when it is housed and completely eliminating the influence of radio waves emitted from the antenna.
CONSTITUTION: This antenna 20 is constituted of a bar-shaped antenna member 22 and a loading coil 26 built in a knob part 24 provided on the tip. In the case of housing the antenna 20 inside the case body 10 of a portable telephone set, almost all of the antenna member 22 is inserted in a metallic shield tube 50. Since the shield tube 50 functions as a guide at the time of housing, the housing is smoothly performed and the antenna member 22 is prevented from interfering other parts at the time of the housing. Also, since a part of it is grounded, the radio waves emitted from the antenna member 22 is shielded and the influence on the other parts can be completely eliminated.
