Abstract:

To provide an anthracene derivative that enhances photosensitivity as a charge-transporting agent of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, a manufacturing method of the same, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor exhibiting excellent photosensitivity.

The anthracene derivative is represented by formula (1). In formula (1), Ar is a hydrogen atom or a group represented by formula (2); R1, R2 and R3 are each a 1-8C alkyl group, 6-18C aryl group, 7-18C aralkyl group or 3-12C cycloalkyl group; p and q are each an integer of 0-4 satisfying an expression: p+q≤4; r is an integer of 0-4; and m is an integer of 1 or 2. In formula (2), R4 is the same as R1; s is an integer of 0-4; and n is an integer of 1 or 2.
