Abstract:

To provide an anthraquinone-based fiber-reactive blue dye which does not cause the deposit of the fiber-reactive dye, gelation and so on in the presence of an alkali, when dyed or printed, and has good stability.

This anthraquinone-based dye composition comprises an anthraquinone-based compound of formula (III) (R is hydrogen or SO3H) or its salt, and 1-amino-4-hydroxyanthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid or its salt in an amount of 0.1 to 0.4 mole as an anthraquinone derivative per mole of the compound of formula (III) or its salt.
