To provide an anti-allergic composition comprising a plant of the genus Rosa of the family Rosaceae and an ingredient derived from the plant and α-cyclodextrin and to provide a food and drink and an additive for the food and drink comprising the composition.
The anti-allergic composition comprises (1) an extract from the plant of the genus Rosa of the family Rosaceae, (2) the plant of the genus Rosa of the family Rosaceae and (3) at least one kind of the extract from the plant of the genus Rosa of the family Rosaceae and/or a fermented material obtained by fermenting and culturing the plant of the genus Rosa of the family Rosaceae and the α-cyclodextrin. The food and drink comprises the anti-allergic composition. The additive for the food and drink comprises the anti-allergic composition. The anti-allergic composition, etc., inhibit and ameliorate allergic diseases and can continuously be used over a long period without causing adverse effects, etc., peculiar to medicines.
