To provide a simpler and more accurately effective anti-earthquake device.
The anti-earthquake device is constructed so as to prevent shocks of buildings such as houses, stores, factories, etc. by earthquakes or strong winds, etc. The anti-earthquake device is provided with structure support materials that are vertically installed outside a building structure susceptible to shocks of earthquakes or strong winds, and with anchors installed via vents under a floor opened in a building foundation itself or between the building foundation and its upper surface, and generating resisting forces in response to the transmission of earthquake forces acting upon the structure support materials. The support materials and anchors are combined to each other so that earthquake forces transmitted from the building structure to the support materials are resisted by the anchors.
