Title:
ANTI-FORGERY PRINTED MATTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3430755
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable forgery using a copy machine by obtaining a transparent pattern exhibiting gradation through combination of patterns of laminated concealing layer.
SOLUTION: A first print layer 3, a concealing layer 4 having a pattern 8 constituted at least partially of nonoverlapping openings 9, a concealing layer 5, and a second print layer 6 are formed sequentially on a core sheet 2. When the concealing layers 4, 5 provided with a pattern of opening are formed in multilayer, a combination pattern 7 of patterns 8 is formed. Since the opening 9 of laminated concealing layers 4, 5 is partially aligned but partially not aligned, coating of the concealing layers 4, 5 is not uniform and thereby the transmittance of light is not uniform. Difference of transmittance causes partial difference of the intensity of transmitted light, i.e., gradation, in the shape of combination pattern, i.e., the transparent pattern of a forged printed matter 1 observed from the external view thereof.
