Abstract:
PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory analgesic that contains a pyruvic acid amide as the effective component, thus having high anti-inflammatory analgesic activity and extremely reduced toxicity and side effects as gastroenteric troubles.
CONSTITUTION: A pyruvic acid amide of the formula (R1 is ary1 or substituted ary1; R2 is hydrogen, methy1) is used for the effective component and mixed with an adequate carrier or diluent agent and formed into a preparation as tablet, capsule, or emulsion.
