Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a pliable, soft and thin fabric tape giving no stiff feel or a sense of incompatibility with no see-through color or pattern of clothing, etc., even if fixed thereonto.
CONSTITUTION: This anti-see-through fabric tape is tape-like fabric ≤200μm thick, being ≥50% in the reflectance at a view angle of 2 degree and a measurement wavelength region of 420-700nm when determined with the standard illumination light C. This fabric tape can be obtained by subjecting fabric ≤200μm thickness to at least one kind of treatment selected from the following: (A) needle punching, (B) high-pressure water jet treatment and (C) abrasive treatment, to effect opening the fibers or highly interlacing them.
