The anti-snatch device 10 comprises a case body 11 that is a hollow spherical container filled with a countering agent 15 for countering a snatch, a chain type attachment member 17 attached to the periphery of the case body and provided at the other end with an attachment part 17b attachable to a belonging, a cord reel member 18 fixed to a plug member 14 closing a small hole 13 in the case body to wind up and hold a drawable cord 19 of a given length, and a fitting 21 fixed to the drawing end of the cord and detachably connectable to the belonging owner's clothing, bicycle or the like.
