Abstract:
To provide an anti-staining resin which has a sufficient anti-staining function, is free from the destruction of the resin itself, is economical, and has environmental compatibility.
This anti-staining resin 1 comprises a resin base component 2 and fine particles 3 in which a photocatalyst 31 is impregnated into an inorganic porous material 32 consisting mainly of fluoroappatite, wherein the fine particles 3 are deposited and carried on the surface of the resin base component 2. The photocatalyst 31 is preferably a catalyst comprising a mixture of rutile type titanium oxide with a titanium compound giving an amorphous titanium compound.
