Abstract:
To provide anti-VLA-4 antibodies.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an α4-binding antibody and a fragment thereof. In one embodiment, the invention provides a recombinant antibody or α4-binding fragment thereof, where the recombinant antibody molecule or α4-binding fragment thereof comprises a variable light chain framework including an IGKV4-1-derived acceptor sequence and a variable heavy chain framework including an IGHV1-f derived acceptor sequence as well as heavy chain and light chain CDRs derived from a mouse antibody HP1/2 or 21.6. In another embodiment, the recombinant antibody molecule or α4-binding fragment thereof comprises a variable light chain framework including an acceptor sequence derived from germline engineered AAH70335.1, and a variable heavy chain framework including an acceptor sequence derived from IGHV1-f, where the antibody or fragment thereof can bind to α4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
