EXAMPLE: 3-(7α-Acetylthio-17β-hydroxy-3-oxo-11β,18-oxido-4-androsten-17α-yl)propionic acid-γ-lactone.
USE: An antiandrosteron agent having a low affinity for androgen receptors to be side effects.
PROCESS: The addition reaction is initiated in the double bond in the ring B of a compound expressed by formula IV obtained from a compound expressed by formula III in five steps to introduce Y1 into the 7α-position and give a compound expressed by formula V (Y2 is H).
