Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor and effort of a brain wave-judging person and a doctor in a clinical examination by enhancing the accuracy in the detection of characteristic waves and noise resistance in a brain electromagnetic-wave, and dealing with different criteria for judgment and further by providing a highly accurate characteristic brain electromagnetic-wave detector.
SOLUTION: This apparatus has a brain electromagnetic-wave conversion means 1 by which a time-series data 100 of a brain electromagnetic-wave is analyzed by a wavelet transformation to output level information 110, and a first characteristic wave detection means to determine the appearing of a characteristic wave at the time when a value of level information of level reflecting an objective characteristic brain electromagnetic-wave in the level information 110 satisfies a predetermined judgment criterion.
