To prevent, in a laminate tube container filled with contents such as face wash soap, the growth of bacteria and prevent the occurrences of sliming and blackening, by forming its body from a laminate material provided with an antibacterial layer obtained by adding an antibacterial agent into an outermost layer.
A laminate tube container comprises a body made of a flexible laminate material and a cap fitted on a mouth made in one end of the body. In the case, as the laminate material, the one comprising an antibacterial layer obtained by adding an antibacterial agent into an outermost layer 10, a heat- sealable, thermoplastic resin layer being an innermost layer 11, and an intermediate layer 13 situated between the outermost layer 10 and innermost layer 11. In the case, an example of the antibacterial agent for use in it is such that quaternary ammonium chemical substance is held on tripolyphosphate by ionic bond. Also, the mouth and cap are made of resin in which the antibacterial agent is mixed, to obtain the laminate tube container having excellent antibacterial properties, and, further, the intermediate layer 13 is provided with a gas- barrier layer 14 in order to enhance ability to preserve the contents.
