Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a stainless steel product excellent in durability and heat resistance and which is not discolored and hardly scratched by applying antibacterial and mildewproofing treatment to an stainless steel product which is widely used on an industrial scale.
CONSTITUTION: Metallic silver or a silver-contg. material is melted with a glass material to form a frit, and the frit powder is laminated on the surface of a stainless steel product, then calcined and fused to the stainless steel product surface. An antibacterial and mildewproofing stainless steel product is obtained in this way.
