Title:
ANTIGEN EXAMINATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02138869
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect antigen rapidly with a small amount of required antibody by causing a suspicious sample to react with a support, excluding a non-bound antigen, and adding an antibody to a binding antigen and forming an immunity complex between the antigen and the antibody on the support.

CONSTITUTION: A sample that is suspected of containing an antigen (such as Gramnegative germ) is mixed with immunity globulin that is specifically bound to the antigen in water-based medium and mixes the medium with a support. Then, the blend is incubated under sufficient conditions for binding to the support when an antibody is bound to the antigen. Then, when the amount of antibody on the support or in the medium is measured, the amount is associated with the presence or the amount of presence of the antigen in the sample. The amount of antibody is judged by separating, for example, the support from the medium,.bringing the separated support into contact with a detection medium containing a labeled receptor of the antibody, and examining the presence of a label for the support or the medium. With this method, the antigen can be detected easily and rapidly by the standard immunity chemical method.
