Abstract:
To provide an antigenic polypeptide expressed by pathogenic microbes.
There are provided: a method for identifying the antigenic polypeptide expressed by pathogenic microbes; a vaccine containing the polypeptide; a recombinant method for producing the polypeptide; and a therapeutic antibody against the polypeptide. The polypeptide is encoded with an isolated nucleic acid molecule and used for vaccines, and contains a DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of DNA sequences encoding the polypeptide expressed by pathogenic microbes, and DNA sequences degenerating as a result of genetic coding to the DNA sequences.
