Title:
ANTIGLARE FILM AND ANTIGLARE POLARIZING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011186386
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an antiglare film which exhibits excellent antiglare properties and prevents degradation in visibility due to a phenomenon in which a screen becomes whitish and the occurrence of glare while exhibiting a high contrast and is superior in moisture resistance and suppresses deterioration in a polarizing film, and to provide an antiglare polarizing plate.

The antiglare film includes a base film 101 and an antiglare layer 102 laminated on the base film 101 and having a rugged surface, wherein the base film 101 is made of a polyethylene terephthalate. In the antiglare film, a ratio H12/H22 of an energy spectrum H12 of an elevation of the rugged surface at a spatial frequency of 0.01 μm-1 to an energy spectrum H22 at a spatial frequency of 0.04 μm-1 is within a range from 1 to 20, and a ratio H32/H22 of an energy spectrum H32 at a spatial frequency of 0.1 μm-1 to the energy spectrum H22 is ≤0.1, and the rugged surface includes ≥95% of surfaces inclined at ≤5°. The antiglare polarizing plate uses this antiglare film.
