Abstract:
To provide a fiber generating antimicrobial activities.SOLUTION: There is described a fiber generating antimicrobial activities. The fiber contains an enzyme capable of converting a substrate to release hydrogen peroxide and unpurified natural material containing a substrate to the enzyme, the enzyme is added to any enzyme activity which may be exist in the unpurified natural material, capable of converting the substrate to release hydrogen peroxide. The enzyme release hydrogen peroxide effective against a wide range of microorganisms by converting the substrate in presence of sufficient free water. There are also described a wound healing dressing material and a composition containing the fiber, and uses of the fiber, the wound healing dressing material and the composition for wound healing are described as well.SELECTED DRAWING: None
