To improve crime prevention.
An antipanic type lock includes: a shaft 2 provided slidably along a turning shaft part 10 of an indoor side handle 1 and integrally turnably with the indoor side handle 1; an energizing member 3 for energizing the shaft 2 to an indoor side sliding direction; an operation part 4 provided on the indoor side end part of the shaft 2; an action part 5 provided on the outdoor side end part of the shaft 2; a follower part 6 engaged with the action part 5 around the action part 5 and provided slidably in a direction orthogonal to the sliding direction accompanying the sliding movement of the shaft 2; and a transmission member 7 connected to the outdoor side end part side of the shaft 2 such that the shaft 2 is slidable and transmitting the turning force of the indoor side handle 1 to a lock mechanism part. When the operation part 4 is operated against the energizing force of the energizing member 3, the follower part 6 is engaged with a second engaging part 33 more on the indoor side than a first engaging part 32 of the action part 5, and is slid to a position for allowing the turning of the indoor side handle 1.
