Abstract:
To provide an antiseptic agent for eye drop having the excellent a effect and safe to human body.
A polymer of a basic amino acid such as polylysine, polyornithine, polyarginine and polyhistidine is useful as an antiseptic agent for eye drop having excellent antiseptic effect. The antiseptic effect of eye drop can be further promoted by using the polymer of basic amino acid in combination with boric acid and/or borax.
