Abstract:

To obtain a potent antiseptic and, insecticidal disinfectant using charcoal whitch deodorizes a smell peculiar to pyrolignous acid and possesses no harm and side effect.

This is an antiseptic, and insecticidal disinfectant using charcoal which is prepared by dispersing charcoal powder and ceramic powder into pyrolignous acid. Pyrolignous acid, charcoal powder and ceramic powder are preferably formulated at a ratio of 60-70 pts.wt., 30-20 pts.wt. and 10 pts.wt. or less respectively. By this formulation, a smell peculiar to pyrolignous acid is adsorbed and deodorized, besides, noxious components are also adsorbed and they become harmless to man and beast. Further, by sprinkling and spraying it, noxious insects such as tick, cockroach, white ant, etc., noxious insects such as moth and the like which eat clothes and noxious insects such as flea, mosquito, etc., which are parasitic on domestic animals and pets are exterminated, and further, fungi and pathogenic bacteria in houses, offices and stables are disinfected.
