Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure the steering stability of a vehicle at braking on a laterally split surface in an ABS vehicle, and prevent the increase in braking distance.
CONSTITUTION: The controller of a device executes a liquid pressure increasing speed change control for changing the liquid pressure rise of the opposite wheel to a lateral wheel to which no antiskid control is operated according to the deviation Δ(d/dt)&phiv between a generating yaw rate (d/dt)&phiv and a target yaw rate (d/dt)&phiv ref (S104, 105, 107). In the antiskid control after both the wheels reach antiskid control, a standard slip ratio change control according to the yaw rate deviation Δ(d/dt)&phiv can be added (S106). The steering stability of a vehicle in braking initial stage on a laterally split surface is thus ensured, and the compatibility with prevention of yaw rate generation at turning braking and prevention of braking distance increase can be attained.
