Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled antistatic agent for keading, having an immediate effect, keeping effets for a long period, having high heat stability, not coloring resins, containing a specific amount of an alkanediol and a specified fatty alcohol in a specific weight ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The desired antistatic agent containing (A) an alkanediol (e.g., 1,2-octadecanediol, etc.) shown by the formula (R1 is alkyl; R2 is H, or alkyl; total number of C of R2 and R2 is 10W28), and (B) 10W22C fatty alcohol (e.g., stearyl alcohol, etc.) in a weight ratio of the component A/B=2/8W8/2 (preferably the component A/B=3/7W7/3). 0.1W2pts.wt. antistatic agent is preferably used based on 100pts.wt. thermoplastic resin.
