To provide an antistatic film for an IC carrier coated with an antistatic coating film, not generating the thermal deterioration of the resin in the antistatic coating film and having high-degree dimensional stability, and an IC carrier cover tape using the antistatic film and an IC carrier case.
An antistatic composition, which contains 40-85 weight % of a binder based on a polyester or an acrylic copolymer resin, 5-50 weight % of an antistatic agent comprising a specific repeating unit and 1-20 weight % of a polymer obtained by the addition polymerization of a specific addition polymerizable oxazoline on the weight basis of the addition polymerizable oxazoline residue in the polymer, is applied to at least the single surface of a polyester film and thermally fixed to obtain the antistatic film for the IC carrier. The heat shrinkage factor of the antistatic film at 150°C for 30 min is at most 1%. A carbon layer is formed on at least the single surface of the antistatic film to obtain the IC carrier cover tape and the IC carrier case.
