PURPOSE: To provide a container which is produced by stretch blow molding, allows no migration of an antistatic agent contained in it to its inside surface, preventing the advance effect of the agent on the contents, and has effective antistatic properties at a low content of the agent.
CONSTITUTION: This container having a surface resistivity of the inside surface of 1014-1015Ω and that of the outside surface of 1010-1014Ω is obtd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. PET resin with 1.0-1.5 pts.wt. antistatic agent contg. a metal alkanesulfonate of the formula: R1CH(R2)SO3M (wherein R1 and R2 are each a linear alkyl group provided the sum of the numbers of carbon atoms of them is 7-23; and M is a metal) and subjected the resulting compsn. to injection blow molding.
