Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition introduced permanent antistatic characteristics and capable of being easily produced, by compounding a thermoplastic polymer and a copolymer containing a polyamide block and a specified polyether block.
SOLUTION: This antistatic polymer composition comprises (A) a thermoplastic polymer, preferably in an amount of 98-80 pts.wt., and (B) a copolymer containing a polyamide block and a polyether block basically comprising an ethylene oxide unit: (C2H4-O), preferably in an amount of 2-20 pts.wt., wherein the copolymer has a melt temperature of 80-150°C, preferably 90-135°C. The component A is preferably selected from a group comprising a polyolefin, a polyamide, a fluorinated polymer, a saturated polyester, etc., and a mixture containing at least two kinds of the above polymers. The polyamide block of the component B is preferably comprises a copolyamide obtained from at least one kind of an α,ω-aminocarboxylic acid (or a lactam), at least one kind of a diamine and at least one kind of a dicarboxylic acid through polycondensation reaction.
