Abstract:

PURPOSE: A drug used as a remedy for viral diseases that contains an aminosulfonylhalogenobenzoic ester derivative as an active ingredient, thus showing high rapid action and enough curing effect.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains a compound of the formula (X, Y are Cl, Br, F, H; R1 is cyclohexyl, benzyl, allyl, 1W12C alkyl) and its salt such as methyl 3-aminosulfonyl-4-fluorobenzoate as an active ingredient. The compounds of the formula has antiviral effect with high safety and is very effective against a variety of infections caused by viruses such as pneumonia, bronchitis. The compound of the formula is obtained by heating a halogenoaminosulfonylbenzoic acid in thionyl chloride and making the product react with an alcohol of the formula: ROH.
