To provide an apical hose for casting ready-mixed concrete, which is suitable, by devising a structure of a reinforced layer embedded in a thick middle portion, for use in an apical hose or the like for needing both flexibility and rigidity and besides for needing a further improvement in preventing a wrenching phenomenon.

There is provided the apical hose for casting the ready-mixed concrete in which a reinforcing spiral wire 19 and fiber-reinforced cords 18, 20 spirally wound are arranged in the thick middle portion. In the apical hose, the fiber-reinforced cord 20 is made into a composite fiber-reinforced cord by stacking, in a hose apical portion 13C, mutually in the same number, a right cord layer 20a whose fiber material is wound spirally in a right direction and an inverse cord layer 20b whose fiber material is wound spirally in an inverse direction. The composite fiber-reinforced cord 20 is arranged at an outer circumferential side of the reinforcing spiral wire 19.
