PURPOSE: To carry out the automatic skinning of grape without collapsing its pulp, by applying force with a pair of rollers rotating inward with each other and force with the moving face of a charging device to the fruit of the grape thereby extending the break of the skin, and separating the pulp from the skin.
CONSTITUTION: The fruit of grape (a1) supplied from the first supplying device B is transferred forward along the inclined feeding groove C2 by the vertical vibration of the feeding plate C3 of the sceond supplying device C, and dropped intermittently through the feeding port C1 to the hopper 8. The first is then transferred by the chain belt 4 extended around the wheels 5W7 of the charging device 3 to the gap between a pair of rollers 1 rotating inward with each other. The gap is adjusted so as to pass only the skin of the fruit (a1). The rotational force of the rollers 1 and the pressing force of the belt 4 are applied to the fruit (a1), and the fruit is pressed thereby. The break of the skin caused by the separation of the fruit from the bunch or from the fruit stalk is extended by this action, and the pulp (a3) is separated from the skin (a2). The skin (a2) is discharged to the back of the feeding port, and the pulp (a3) is dropped by the motion of the belt 4.
