Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for automatically changing the fastening die of a riveting apparatus in an automatic drilling and riveting apparatus.

This automatic drilling and riveting apparatus is provided with a die assembly (18) having a plurality of dies (26-30) and a movable table (31) and a driving gear for moving the die assembly. One die (26) among a plurality of the dies is moved to an under position in the axial direction of a punch by moving the die assembly in the direction orthogonally crossed with the axis of the punch (14) of the die assembly with the driving gear and the one die is fixed into a die mounting hole under the punch in the lowered position of the die assembly. By driving rivets into a member to be fastened with the punch in this state, the member to be fastened is fastened.
