The apparatus for automatically releasing frozen food from a plate 1 comprises the following: a conveyor 3 driving a pulling body 2 in a conveying direction; a plurality of retainer attachments 4 attached to the pulling body 2; a foraminate tray 6 where frozen food 5 is put to be conveyed via the conveyor 3; a stopper rail 7 preventing the foraminate tray 6 from rising up in the air from the conveyor 3 in a stroke from (A) to B; a peeling device 8 making the frozen food 5 take a slanted posture in a stroke from the vicinity of (A) to C; a pick-up nail 9 lifting up the frozen food 5 in a slanted posture in a stroke from C to D; and a food guide rail 10 guiding the frozen food 5 to the upper side of the conveyor 3 in a stroke after D.
