PURPOSE: To insert a curtain or a blanket into a bag in a flat-pressed state and simplify preparation with a simple structure by holding the folded curtain or the like in a flat-pressed state and inserting it into a bag with its mouth open.

CONSTITUTION: A curtain or a blanket folded into a predetermined size is mounted on a bottom plate 12, and force is applied downward to a pressing plate 16 to hold the curtain in a flat-pressed state. While a lateral slide table 22 is moved inward by an opening/closing device 25, a package bag 41 is set so that a mouth opening piece 35 is inserted into its mouth, and the slide table 22 is moved outward to have the mouth of the package bag 41 opened in a rectangular shape. A fore-and-aft slide table 8 is advanced in this state, the flat-pressed curtain or blanket is inserted into the package bag 41, and a stopper 39 is advanced. Then when the slide table 8 is retreated, the bottom plate 12 and the pressing plate 16 are drawn out from the bag 41, but the curtain or blanket is left in the bag 41 with the mouth pressed by the stopper 39. Then the mouth opening piece 35 is moved inward to be removed.
