PURPOSE: To enable a rest plate to be kept always at the same level as a floor face in spite of ascent and descent of a bath tub by installing a guide frame, to which the bath tub is fixed, movably upward and downward along guide poles and by connecting that guide frame with bottom ends of rods of four double-action hydraulic cylinder, which are fitted to and suspended from a downward face of the floor part.

CONSTITUTION: It is possible to keep a rest plate 39 always at the same level as a floor face 1 in spite of up-and-down motions of the bath tub 4 by utilizing a combined action of an actuation liquid in four double-action hydraulic cylinders 21 and a double- action hydraulic cylinder 32. The bath tub 4, which moves in one body with a guide frame 15, is made to ascend by supplying the actuation liquid from a pressure hose 51 in a solid arrow 55 direction by driving a liquid pressure unit 26, so that four rods 23 are contracted upward to raise the guide frame 15. When the bath tub 4 is made to descend, the actuation liquid in a pressure hose 53 is supplied in a dotted arrow 58 direction to extend a rod 41 and the actuation liquid in the pressure hose 51 is transferred in a dotted arrow 59 direction (to the liquid pressure unit side). When the bath tub 4 descends and its upper brim arrives at the same level as the floor face 1, casters of a stretcher car 2 are transferred from the rest plate 39 to the floor face 1 across the upper brim of the bath tub.
