Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the bonding or lamination of different kinds of materials by making the curvature of a single or plural heating plates to be independently adjustable to vary the pressing force of a transfer belt, thereby separately and accurately adjusting the pressing force on an individual piece and a strip material. CONSTITUTION: A fabric piece 10 to be bonded is supplied with transfer belts 11, 12 to a heating station 13, the transfer belt sections 16, 17 are heated in the range of two heating plates 14, 15 and the fabric piece is guided under tension along the curved surface of the heating plate. Each of the heating plates 14, 15 is composed of a heating member as a hollow article having a plane heater and placed on a supporting frame. The curvatures of the heating plates 14, 15 can be varied to adjust the pressing force.
