To provide an apparatus for a carbonization treatment of wastes designed to improve the heating efficiency in the carbonization treatment of the wastes.
This apparatus 11 for the carbonization treatment of the wastes is composed of an outer furnace 12 forming a lengthwise long square box shape, a carbonization furnace 41 arranged in the interior thereof and carrying out the carbonization treatment of the wastes, a combustion furnace 32 provided in the upper part of the outer furnace 12 and combustion gas introduction pipes 52, 53, or the like, making the carbonization furnace 41 communicate with the combustion furnace 32. The combustion gas introduction pipes 52 and 53 are installed in the outer furnace 12. When the carbonization treatment of the wastes is carried out, the combustion gas produced in the carbonization furnace 41 is introduced through the combustion gas introduction pipes 52 and 53 into the combustion furnace 32 and secondarily burned in the combustion furnace 32 so that the heat, and the like, of combustion in the process are continuously transmitted to the interior of the outer furnace body 17.
