Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cleaning apparatus capable of continuously removing fly waste from a yarn-feeding mechanism of a circular knitting machine.
CONSTITUTION: A housing 2 is fixed on a machine frame of a circular knitting machine and provided with an axial fan 3. A suction port 8 is opened on a part of the housing 2 opposite to the yarn-feeding mechanism 14 of the circular knitting machine and a rotating endless belt 4 is placed between the suction port 8 and the axial fan 3. A nozzle 11 for blowing off the fly waste deposited on the endless belt 4 is placed close to the endless belt 4.
